Experience the latest and greatest in luxury cruising with Seabourn Ovation!

Cruises on board the Seabourn Ovation

The latest addition to the Seabourn fleet, the Seabourn Ovation reaches new heights in ultra-luxury cruising. Back are Seabourn standards such as free-flowing champagne, all-balcony accommodation, and world-class dining experience The Grill by Thomas Keller. New to this ship are a new al fresco dining area, fresh handmade gelato, and upgraded internet technology. Those who want the exclusive experience of a luxury yacht but also the variety of entertainment and dining options of a cruise ship need look no further than the Seabourn Ovation.

Whether you’re looking to collect once-in-a-lifetime experiences on your cruise, or just lounge around and relax, Seabourn has something for you. Enjoy a five-star dining experience at The Grill, sing along to your favorite showtunes during “An Evening with Tim Rice,” or take part in Seabourn’s signature “Caviar in the Surf.” For a more relaxing vacation, the low passenger count means the pool is never crowded, and six outdoor whirlpools offer up a place for a relaxing soak in cold-weather locations. Personal service is guaranteed every step of the way.

Ship information

Experience over-the-top luxury in Seabourn Ovation’s signature suites. With 24-hour room service, a fully-stocked mini-bar, and a private balcony on every suite, you can be sure to fulfill your every desire and whim during your time onboard. The smallest suites start at 300 square feet, with higher-category accommodations ranging up to nearly 1,000 square feet. The innovative Wintergarden Suite features an innovative glass-enclosed balcony with lounge chairs and a tub, so you can enjoy the grand ocean views even when the weather is cool.

Dining & Gastronomy

The crowning star of Seabourn’s dining venues is The Grill, where everything from the menu to the preparation to the music and lighting was designed by holder of three Michelin stars chef Thomas Keller. Enjoy skillfully prepared and expertly presented takes on classic dishes, many of which are prepared tableside. Unique to Seabourn Ovation is Earth & Ocean at The Patio, where skillful chefs prepare a variety of dishes under the stars. This al fresco dinner experience is one you won’t want to miss.

Entertainment and Activities

Seabourn provides a relaxing, pampering onboard experience for those who seek it. You won’t find waterslides or circus shows on a Seabourn ship. Instead, expect entertainment options that cater to a mature, sophisticated crowd: Seabourn “Conversations” (rather than lectures) with rocket scientists and musical geniuses. Decadent, high-quality spa treatments. And of course, unlimited champagne and caviar, whenever and wherever you like.

For adrenaline junkies, the real adventure takes place off the ship. In its signature “Ventures by Seabourn” excursions, you can participate in an excursion lead by knowledgeable, expert expedition guides. Ventures may include kayaking, hiking, or exploring via Zodiac. Watersports enthusiasts will also want to make use of the ship’s private marina, available in select warm-water ports.

Dress Code

Though the Seabourn dress code is officially resort casual, many passengers opt for country club casual during the day. Most nights, an elegant casual dress code in the public areas prevails, including slacks and shirts for men and dresses or pant suits for women. On occasional formal nights, men are expected to wear a tuxedo or nice suit, and women should opt for an evening gown or other formal wear.
