The self-styled "World's First Discovery Yacht," the Scenic Eclipse is a six-star luxury yacht that represents Scenic's first foray into ocean cruising. Known for its luxury river cruises, Scenic built the Scenic Eclipse in 2018 for luxury, no-expenses-spared ocean expeditions to the ends of the earth. Ice-class certified, the ship will spend extensive time exploring Antarctica and the Arctic, stopping at popular destinations in the Americas and Europe in between.
The Scenic Eclipse delivers previously unheard-of levels of luxury and adventure. With two helicopters, a fleet of small craft exploration vessels, kayaks, e-bikes, and a seven-person submarine, passengers can explore some of the most stunning phenomena of nature by air, by shore, and from under the water. Warm up after an ice excursion with a soak in a jacuzzi, or take a swim in the indoor heated pool. Splurge on a massage to loosen up those sore muscles after a long day trekking around in the wilderness, or if you prefer to stay out of the action, soak in the scenery as you sip hot cocoa under a blanket on deck.
With all-balcony, all-suite accommodation, you won't miss the scenery for a minute, even once you retreat into your private oasis onboard. Every suite contains a sitting area, a private veranda, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, a flatscreen TV, a spacious closet, and a private bath. Verandah suites start at 344 square feet and are outfitted with Scenic's signature sleek, modern design.
Dining & Gastronomy
With a remarkable ten different dining experiences onboard, the Scenic Eclipse serves up something for every taste, diet and whim. Experience handcrafted Italian cuisine at Elements, or nibble on some sushi or pan-Asian creations at Koko's. Lumiere is Scenic's signature contemporary French restaurant, and Epicure and Chef's Table both feature interactive dining experiences for hobby chefs.
Entertainment and Activities
The destinations the Scenic Eclipse visits take center stage. Experience a once-in-a-lifetime submarine dive into the coral reefs of the Caribbean, or get an unbeatable bird's eye view of Chilean fjords from a helicopter. Cruise to remote islands and get up close to the wildlife on a Zodiac tour, or coast along the promenades of European cities on a GPS-guided tour with an e-bike. For long days at sea, there are plenty of bars and lounges to relax and sip cocktails in, as well as an indulgent wellness area featuring a heated pool and high-end spa treatments
