Balancing comfort and function, the staterooms onboard the Regal Princess offer an understated elegance reminiscent of a casual hotel room. New to Royal Class ships, the Regal Princess offers a new class of stateroom: the Deluxe Balcony, offering all the benefits of a balcony room with several of the amenities of a Mini-Suite. The suites offer a separate “living room” area with a sofa bed and flat-screen TV, perfect for families or for travelers who prefer more space.
Dining & Gastronomy
A record number of restaurants on board will provide guests with more dining options than they could possibly experience during a single cruise. In addition to three casual buffets and three traditional fixed-seating restaurants, specialty dining encompasses cuisines ranging from classic Italian to hearty steak to luxury seafood. Balcony dining is also available for those looking for a romantic meal while watching the sun set over the water.
Entertainment and Activities
Special to the Regal Princess is the Princess Watercolor Fantasy Show, a water-light show choreographed to music. An onboard fountain creates elegant jets of water that dance and splash in time to the music, while brightly-colored lights shine one them from below. Classic favorites such as movie nights under the stars, brilliant Broadway musical productions and live music performances are also available to keep guests entertained during long days at sea.
In accordance with the casual environment on board, passengers on the Regal Princess can dress how they please, with most choosing comfortable clothes based on the local weather. In the evening, resort-casual attire is recommended, with men wearing khakis or slacks and collared shirts, and women wearing skirts, pants or capris and a nice blouse. Longer cruises will additionally have at least one formal night, where cocktail dresses, evening gowns and tuxedos are required.
