Bumper cars, skydiving simulators and more - Ovation of the Seas has it all!

Cruises on board the Ovation of the Seas

One of the Quantum Class ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet, the Ovation of the Seas is one of the world's largest cruise liners. Its sheer size means you'll find things on this ship which just wouldn't be possible on other vessels, such as a skydiving simulator, bumper cars, rock climbing wall, escape room game, and a 30-foot art installation of a panda and cub. It's a cruise ship like no other, and welcomes families and couples from across the world.

Ovation of the Seas is also one of the most technologically advanced cruise ships. Download the app to book activities, reserve dining tables, and check schedules. High-speed internet is available in all staterooms and public areas, so kids can stream a movie while their parents Skype the folks at home. Pitched firmly at a family market, there activities for kids from babies through to teens, as well as a fantastic water park complete with slides and fountains.

Ship information

Staterooms

Ovation of the Seas offers a mix of interior and ocean-view staterooms, with a twist. Some interior staterooms have a "virtual balcony;" a floor to ceiling high resolution screen showing live images from outside. Upgrade to a loft suite for two level living with stunning ocean views. Families can use connected rooms, and provision of Pullman or bunk beds ensures perfect accommodation for all combinations of parties.

Dining & Gastronomy

There is a huge range of dining options, from the best steaks and seafood at Chops Grille to casual New York-style pizza at Sorrento's. A popular choice is Jamie's Italian, with menus devised by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The Chef's Table experience isn't to be missed, with seasonal ingredients used in innovative dishes, paired with wine by the ship's sommelier.

Entertainment and Activities

One thing's for certain – you'll never be bored on Ovation of the Seas. Roller skating, sky diving, surfing lessons, outdoor cinema, circus school, table tennis, shopping, pools, and spa treatments; you'll struggle to fit everything into one vacation. In the evenings, the choice is similarly varied. The Two70 theatre uses immersive technology in some of the world's most innovative performances, and if dancing's more your thing, head to the Music Hall which has live bands every night. While the adults are having fun, kids can head to the Adventure Ocean kids club. There's even a special chillout area for teens.

Dress Code

For most of your cruise, a smart casual, or casual dress code will apply. This means collared shirts, no shorts in the evening, dresses, and jackets if you wish. Each cruise of a week or longer has a formal night in the dining room, so if you're attending this event you'll need to dress to impress in lounge suit, tuxedo, evening gowns, or cocktail dresses.
