Staterooms

The staterooms on the Oceania Marina are comfortable and tastefully-designed. Furnished with high-quality bedding and dark wood tones, they provide a perfect restful oasis after a long day at sea. Interior staterooms start at 174 square feet, but the majority of staterooms are spacious balcony rooms, which measure up at a spacious 242 square feet. The exquisite bathrooms are outfitted in marble and granite amenities, and all classes of staterooms except for interior have a separate bathtub. Suite passengers can enjoy additional comforts including a 24-hour private butler, a jacuzzi or whirlpool tub, and a spacious separate living area.

Dining & Gastronomy

The specialty dining is the highlight of any cruise with the Oceania Marina. Four specialty restaurants offer French, Italian, Asian and surf-and-turf cuisine. Jacques, named for celebrity chef Jacques Pepin, serves high-quality French cuisine, ranging from light bistro fare to mains heavy with cream and cheese. Save room for the cheese trolley, and be sure to ask a sommelier for a recommendation on the best wine pairing with your meal. Red Ginger is also a hit, with bold, Asia-fusion cuisine that’s not afraid to combine strong flavors or turn up the heat.

Since meals are made to order and not prepared in advance, the chefs can easily accommodate any dietary restriction, if given advance notice. There is even an extensive vegan menu in the Main Dining room.

Entertainment and Activities

Oceania is known for destination-intensive cruises without an over-emphasis on onboard activities. Still, there is plenty to do during sea days. The saltwater pool is a quiet oasis, perfect for a relaxing swim or a nap in the sun. Live music and dance shows are held in the ship’s theater every night, and the ship also features a piano bar, a string quartet during afternoon tea, and special cabaret shows interspersed throughout the journey. And the Canyon Ranch spa provides a relaxing escape where you can get pampered with a massage, manicure or facial in a serene environment.

The star of the onboard entertainment activities is the Culinary Center, where passengers can participate in cooking workshops lead by master chefs. A class at the Culinary Center is an entertaining highlight of any cruise, and it’s delicious, too – at the end you get to eat what you cook.

Dress Code

Marina fosters a casual but elegant onboard dress code. Resort wear is fine during the day, but it’s wise to swap out the shorts for slacks and the t-shirt for a blouse or buttoned shirt at dinner. Only the Terrace Café onboard buffet allows shorts, jeans and other casual wear in the evening.
