Ship information

You'll have plenty of rooms to choose from thanks to the five stateroom classes: interior, oceanview, balcony, mini-suite, and suite. 24-hour room service is available with all, but the suites come with a concierge and butler. The mini-suites and suites accommodate up to 4 people, while the other classes fit 2-5, depending on the room.

Dining & Gastronomy

The Norwegian Sun offers complimentary and specialty dining, and with the Specialty Dining Package, you'll be able to pay one price for access to certain non-complimentary restaurants. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the Garden Cafe provide a gorgeous view of the ocean while you dine at the buffet. At the Atrium Cafe, your inner child and actual kids will love the à la carte treats, while Cagney's Steakhouse offers a menu that's more sophisticated but still sumptuous.

Entertainment and Activities

Your children won't get enough of the Video Zone - where they can crush aliens and fly jet fighters to their hearts' delight. At the Oasis Pool, take a swim or lounge on a sun bed or deck chair. To feel even more relaxed, get a massage or pedicure at the Mandara Spa and Salon. Test your luck at the Sun Casino and enjoy a round of Blackjack or Roulette, or spend an evening mesmerized by a dance and music performance by the Norwegian Production Cast.

Dress Code

Norwegian Cruise Line doesn't enforce a specific dress code, so cruise casual is appropriate. For dinner, elegant cruise casual is recommended, but it is compulsory for certain restaurants. Specialty restaurants and the main dining room prohibit flip-flops, caps, and male tank tops, while jeans without excessive fading or holes are permitted in restaurants.
