Dining & Gastronomy
There are plenty of on-board dining options. Whether you fancy traditional Asian fare, succulent French seafood, an authentic Italian meal or a sumptuous grill, you’ll find it on the ms Oosterdam. On-board chefs work closely with a team of world-class celebrity chefs, including Elizabeth Falkner and Rudi Sodamin, resulting in the high-quality, imaginative cuisine that the Holland America Line is famed for.
Entertainment and Activities
Providing activities for kids and teens aged 3 to 17, Club HAL is a firm favorite with younger guests. But there’s plenty more to keep the family occupied. A fun-packed performance program with up to 12 acts billed each night means there’s something for every taste. You can also make the most of the exclusive BBC Earth natural history events, including amazing concerts, films and hands-on children's activities.
Day wear is casual, although beachwear, distressed jeans, men’s tank tops and pool attire are not allowed in the fine-dining restaurants. Most evenings, smart casual dress is fine, but on more formal nights, it’s time to dress to impress: for men, a collared shirt, dress trousers and a smoking jacket is ideal, while for women a cocktail dress or evening gown is recommended.
