Staterooms on the Mariner of the Seas stand out for their elegant, classic design. Cabins are brightly lit and decorated in basic colors and light wood. Standard balcony staterooms range between 184 and 199 square feet, with 50–65 square foot balconies. Oceanview staterooms are 160 square feet, while large family rooms are 293 square feet. Mariner of the Seas' staterooms have convertible twin-to-queen beds and are fitted with flat-screen televisions. Bathtubs are available in suites. Mariner of the Seas' main restaurant has three main decks, with live music on the upper landing. Choose from two scheduled dinners or an all-time-access reservation. Order a customized salad at the salad bar, sample some excellent baked goods, and snack on tasty hot dogs at Boardwalk Dog House. Sit down for a meal with your family at Chops Grille or Giovanni's Table, an Italian trattoria-themed restaurant. Alternatively, opt for room service at any time.

There are plenty of activities to keep travelers busy on Mariner of the Seas. During the day, take part in traditional cruise activities such as line dancing, bingo, art auctions, and nutrition and gemstone seminars, or get your pulse racing at a rock-climbing wall competition or ice-skating show. Mariner of the Seas' dress code is casual during the day and most evenings, except for formal nights. Men generally opt for suits instead of tuxes.
