Cruises on board the Costa neoRomantica

Costa's neoRomantica was totally refurbished in 2014, and is now one of the most elegant and refined ships in the Costa fleet. Based in Asia and primarily cruising between Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, the neoRomantica attracts an international mix of guests. Dining and activity options onboard combine Italian cuisine with local flavors, and younger guests aren't forgotten either with kids clubs offering fun both during the day and into the evening.

Cruising on any of the Costa ships is a relaxed experience, with no strict dress codes and flexible dining plans, allowing you to choose where and when you eat on each day. Spend your days relaxing around the pool, at the spa, or on a shore trip to one of the cruise's interesting ports of call, and then after dark choose between an evening at the cabaret, a gourmet meal in the ship's restaurant or just chill out in the library with a glass of wine and great book.

Ship information

Staterooms

Costa neoRomantica has 789 staterooms, including 46 with a private balcony and 28 suites. All grades of staterooms are spacious, with elegant Italian styling in the bathrooms, minibars and an in-room safe for your valuables. Suites have a separate seating area, and the Panorama Suites offer living and sleeping accommodation over two levels for the ultimate home-from-home experience.

Dining & Gastronomy

There's no set dining plan on the neoRomantica, so guests have flexibility over where they eat, and when. Botticelli is the ship's main restaurant, offering classic Italian cuisine throughout the day. Enjoy a fine dining experience at Ristorante Club neoRomantica in the evening, with live music, a view of chefs working in the kitchen and fine French and Italian cuisine. Kids will love Pizza Capri, a laidback option with outside tables perfect in warmer weather.

Entertainment and Activities

Wellness and spa treatments are a large part of the neoRomantica's offering, with a large gym, thalassotherapy pool, outdoor jogging track, and treatment rooms – perfect for a bit of pampering while the youngsters are at the kids' club. In the evening, enjoy some post-dinner entertainment at Cabaret Vienna, in the casino or at the Tango Disco. The ship also has its own small mall which is perfect for duty free or souvenir shopping.

Dress Code

The dress code on all Costa cruises is informal, with the only restrictions being no beachwear such as shorts, sarongs or flip-flops in dining rooms. Jeans are perfectly acceptable, and there's no need to wear a jacket or tie. Some cruises have a formal evening, where cocktail dresses or lounge suits are recommended for adult guests.
