Enjoy an action-packed journey on the Costa Fortuna!

Cruises on board the Costa Fortuna

Looking for a high-energy, action-packed adventure at an affordable price? Look no further than the Costa Fortuna. Built in 2003, the ship sails popular routes in the Mediterranean in summer and East Asia in winter. Enjoy a truly European atmosphere on your cruise as you mingle with an international mix of passengers. The food, design, and décor are all inspired by Italy.

Designed by the famous cruise ship architect Joe Farcus, the ship is a tribute to the roaring 20’s. Colorful lights and bright color schemes turn every day into a party, and numerous theaters and lounges provide evening entertainment catered to every taste. The vintage style also pays tribute to traditional ocean lining, and you’ll find historical artifacts and tributes to the past throughout the ship. History buffs in particular will be delighted by the ship’s lobby, which displays 26 models of ships which have all in the past been part of the Costa fleet.

Dining & Gastronomy

Food is typically European, with Italian staples like pizza and pasta available at all meals. At breakfast, you can get made-to-order omelettes, or graze from a buffet-style spread of cold cuts and cheeses in the main dining room. Gourmet pizzas, burgers, and steaks are available at dinner, and you can also have your breakfast or a snack brought to your room, for a fee.

There’s never a dull moment on the Costa Fortuna. Between the plethora of pools, theaters, and lounges, you’re sure to find something that suits your fancy. Theater productions are geared towards an international audience and feature different styles of singing and dancing. Different genres of music can be found in the various bars, from late-night discos to cool jazz. Those looking for a quiet oasis between the commotion can head to the adults-only Lido Colombo, or recline in the thermal suites of the Samsara Spa.
