Celebrity Flora features some of the most spacious, luxurious suites of any ship to sail the Galapagos. Standard Sky Suites measure up at a comfortable 330 square feet, including full-length sliding glass doors leading out onto an 84-square-foot private balcony. Several categories of suites feature state-of-the-art Infinite Veranda balconies, first seen on the Celebrity Edge. These innovative new features transform your stateroom from an indoor into an outdoor space at the touch of a button.
Another first of its kind is the lavishly-appointed Penthouse Suite. At 1,288 square feet, these apartment-sized suites feature a spacious master bedroom with king-size bed, a sweeping living room big enough to hold two sofas, a table and chairs, and an exquisite wrap-around balcony. Every wall consists of floor-to-ceiling glass windows to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, with curtains for privacy if you so choose.
Dining & Gastronomy
Meals are served daily in the main dining room, the Seaside Restaurant. Alternatively, you can dine al fresco at the Ocean Grill. From fresh seafood to delectable desserts, you’ll be sure to walk away from each meal feeling satisfied. Though you may not have the variety of cuisine you would find on a bigger ship, rest assured that each meal is carefully crafted and curated by Michelin-starred chefs.
The bar is located in the Discovery Lounge, an elegant sitting area that’s perfect for entertainment, lectures, or just socializing. Save for a few top-shelf spirits and specialty cocktails, all drinks are included in your cruise fare, so why not stop by and see what’s on tap?
Entertainment and Activities
On a Galapagos expedition with Celebrity Flora, the nature around you is the only entertainment you’ll need. With exciting Zodiac rides, snorkel expeditions, and hiking excursions all included in your cruise fare, there’s no reason not to make the most of your time on these beautiful islands. Onboard entertainment is light and typically destination-focused, from traditional Ecuadorian folk dances to educational lectures about the birds and fish you’ll encounter on the islands. The onboard library, called The Observatory, comes fully-stocked with books and magazines about the Galapagos, and there’s even a stargazing platform on the top deck.
Daytime wear is outdoor-casual, and guests should dress appropriately for the climate. Comfortable walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, and swimwear belong on your Galapagos packing list. Although there is no formal dress code on Celebrity Galapagos ships, many guests choose to dress smart for dinner, and you may wish to bring slacks, a collared shirt or blouse, or a dress for evenings onboard.
