Nearly all of the wonderfully furnished staterooms on board the Carnival Elation are a spacious 185 sq. ft, and come with a king size bed or twin bed plus a sofa bed, closet space, a small desk area, and amenities such as a television and phone. Sixty percent of the staterooms have a stunning ocean view, with the majority of these classified as outside cabins, meaning they include a private or shared balcony area.
Dining & Gastronomy
Diners on board the Carnival Elation can select to have a set time for dining, determined before embarking, or you can eat at varying dinner times, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Besides the main dining room, the ship offers 24-hour room service, casual self-service at Good Eats, and deli classics at Carnival Deli. Kids will love the Pizza Pirate restaurant, while the Lido offers a bit of everything, with indoor and outdoor seating.
Entertainment and Activities
The Piano Bar draws its inspiration from jazz legend Duke Ellington. Karaoke is a popular evening pasttime at Romeo and Juliet Lounge, while a 1,300 seater venue hosts large-scale shows on a nightly basis. Expect live music at the RedFrog Pub and laughs at the Punchliner Comedy Club. For kids, there are a plethora of activities and clubs from which to choose. Little ones can enjoy supervised fun at Camp Ocean, while your teens can hang out at Club O2. And that's perfect for you to be able to enjoy the Serenity Adult Only Retreat, a part of the ship outfitted with hammocks and a bar.
Carnival Elation is smart-casual in the evenings, so long as you avoid shorts and tank tops, you will be permitted to dine in any of the restaurants at any time. Jeans are not a problem. Once or twice depending on the duration of your voyage, there is a Cruise Elegant evening, for which slacks and collared shirts for men and cocktail dresses for women are the norm.
