Dreamlines USA, LLC (“Dreamlines,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) operates a travel platform that helps people discover and book cruises and tours around the world. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share your information through our website, www.dreamlines.com (the “Site” or the “Platform”). Your use of the Platform is subject to the Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Service.

Please note that when you book a cruise (“Cruise” or “Cruises”) or other travel services, we share your information with the third parties that own, control, operate, and otherwise make the Cruises available on the Platform (“Cruise Providers”). This Privacy Policy does not cover Cruise Providers, and how they use your information is governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us

Booking Information. When you book a Cruise on the Platform, we receive information about the booking you make and all of the information you provide us in connection with the booking, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and nationality. We also receive any other information you may provide about your travel such as your travel and departure dates, information about the adults and children traveling in your party, your cabin type, or other information needed to book your particular Cruise.

Payment Information. When you use your credit card or other payment method to book a Cruise, we receive and store information about your payment card details and share the information with Cruise Providers who will process payments in accordance with their own privacy policies and practices.

Contests and Communications. If you participate in contests that we hold from time to time or otherwise contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as the information you submit through any forms on our Site. For example, when you contact our Cruise Experts, we may receive your name, phone number, email address, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide.

B. Information We Collect When You Use the Platform

Device Information. We receive information from your device(s) including, IP address, device type, web browser type, operating system, resolution, and inbound and outbound links you follow to and from the Platform.

Usage Information. To help us understand how you use the Platform and to help us improve it, we automatically receive information about your interactions with the Platform, like the pages or other content you view, your actions on the websites and online Platform, and the dates and times of your visits. This information helps us improve the Platform.

Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We collect information through the use of “cookies,” tracking pixels, and similar technologies to understand how you navigate through Platform, to learn what content is popular, save your information and preferences, advertise products and services that may be of interest to you, and to help us improve our algorithms and the offerings on the Platform. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and apps recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be accessed every time you use the Platform.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect from users to:

  • Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our Partners, including for marketing and promotional purposes;
  • Customize our offerings for you;
  • Administer contests;
  • Send text messages;

How We Share the Information We Collect

Cruise Providers. Cruises and packages are owned, controlled, operated, and otherwise made available by Cruise Providers, such as cruise companies, airlines, hotels, travel agents, car rental companies, billing and distribution system providers, and travel insurance agents. When you book a Cruise through the Platform, we will share your information, including your booking and payment information, with these Cruise Providers so that they can fulfill and provide the services. Please note that the information we share with those parties is not governed by this Privacy Policy, and you should consult their Privacy Policies to learn more about how they handle your information.

Service Providers. We work with third party service providers to perform services on our behalf, such as to host the Platform, provide the Platform’s booking engine, process your payment information, and send you email communications, including marketing communications. We may share your information with such service providers to help us provide the Platform, including to do all of the things described in Section titled “How We Use the Information We Collect.”

Third Party Advertisers. When you visit our Platform, third party advertisers may set and access their own cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies on the Platform and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you that they collect over time and across different websites. We and third party advertisers may target advertisements for products and Platform in which you might be interested based on your use of the Platform.

For example, we use Google AdWords to advertise online, including including the Google AdWords Remarketing feature. This is an interest-based advertising program through which third parties, including Google, use cookies to serve ads for our products, services, and Platform based on your past visits to our Site and Platform. These third parties and Google show our ads on various sites across the Internet. Other Sharing. We may share your information with third parties in the following cases:

  • While negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control such as a restructuring, merger or sale of our assets;
  • If a government authority requests information and we think disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process;
  • With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or third parties if we think doing so is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dreamlines, the Platform, or our users;
  • To comply with a legal requirement or process; and
  • Whenever you consent to the sharing.

Your Choices

Email Subscriptions. You can always unsubscribe from our newsletter and promotional emails but we will still send you transactional emails about your bookings through the Platform.

Text Messages. If you prefer to stop receiving text messages from us, please send us a request at [email protected] that includes your name, email address, and phone number and an explanation that you would like to opt out of receiving text messages.

Editing and Accessing Your Information. If would like us to modify, correct, or delete your information, please contact us with your request at [email protected]. If you ask us to delete your information, we will deidentify the information and use the deidentified information in manners consistent with our practices under this Privacy Policy.

Do Not Track. At this time we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Other

Data Security. We are committed to protecting your information. Even though we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no security measures can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data.

Third Party Links. The Platform may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third parties before providing any information to them. If you choose to visit or use any third-party products, websites, or services, including those offered by our third party service providers or other partners, please be aware that this Privacy Policy will not apply to your activities or any information you disclose to these third parties.

International Users. The Platform is directed only at customers in the United States, and if you reside in the European Union, you should use the website located at www.dreamlines.de. If you access the Platform from any region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from United States laws, please be aware that you are transferring your personal data to the United States for storage and processing. By using any portion of the Platform, you understand and consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy. The Platform is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we find out that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
